I received an urgent email for a feline rescue this coming Monday. My work schedule doesn't allow me to participate. If you've got the time and the wheels, here are the details:
I had an offer from someone to take these 5 cats (carriers provided) all the way from Okemos, MI to Kenosha, WI. However, I've received no replies to my emails & phone calls, so I'm beginning to panic.
If you can help, please contact me directly at:
pdial5@charter.net
Thanks!

Rescues involve taking cats from "kill" shelters to loving rehabilitators... and, in the long run, loving homes. If the cats can't be picked up, they will not survive.
It's a worthy cause, and you'll feel good about yourself when you're done. (I know we can't save them all, but we sure can do our best.)

I wish I were closer. That kind of thing breaks my heart. We adopted my first dog, Tiny, from CarePets...she was being fostered. The second one, Bruiser...we got from a woman who had rescued a MinPin (who's mother) set to be put down the next day...who was pregnant with 5 PUPPIES at the Humane Society. We got one of them.
