Deaths stemming from train-vehicle collisions and pedestrian accidents at public railroad crossings in Illinois increased last year, safety officials said Tuesday.But I did tell you so.
The 17 fatalities reported between January and November last year at Illinois rail crossings, and 10 deaths of pedestrians hit by trains, reversed a recent decline in collisions, according to statistics compiled by the Illinois Commerce Commission.
