Leslie's Omnibus

In Memorium

Another one of my childhood heroes has passed away:
Pioneering TV cartoon artist Alexander Anderson Jr., who created Rocky the flying squirrel and Bullwinkle the moose, has died. He was 90. Anderson's son Terry tells the Los Angeles Times his father died at a Carmel nursing home on Friday after battling Alzheimer's disease.
Crusader Rabbit:

Rocky & Bullwinkle:

Dudley Do-Right:

They just don't make 'em like that any more, more's the pity.

Thanks for years and years of enjoyment, Mr. Anderson!

Hokey Smoke! I loved Rocky and Bullwinkle and especially, Dudley. I've not been watching the news because the advertising leading up to the elections is making me nuts. Besides, if you can't believe what you read in a comic book, what can you believe?

And then, right on Anderson's heels, Paul the Octopus. A dark day. Speaking of- this weather! We are under a tornado warning here and that's absolutely unheard of. Stay cozy.
