I was in a sorority when I was in college. That swinging elf in my sidebar nudged an odd memory of those days out from under the cobwebs:

We had a number of drinking songs we were fond of, one with the refrain,

Then there was [insert sister's name here]
Swinging from the outhouse door
Without her nightie

(They got her nightie)
Never, ever will go home...
