My heart breaks for everyone in the Schindler and Schiavo families. I wish them all peace. I hope the media and the demonstrators go home and give every one of these folks time to grieve in private. It probably won't happen, but it sure would be nice.
Terri leaves behind an important legacy -- her cause got people talking and thinking about their own wishes, and actually doing something about it.
I'll take up my drum and soapbox some other day. Today, I'm going to just say, "Godspeed, Terri."
