I see Drew Peterson is out there fouling the potential jury pool again:
Dennis Hof is the owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, made famous on the HBO series "Cathouse." Hof says he wanted to hire Rod Blagojevich as his apprentice, whatever that means, but Blago's people turned him down. I mean, come on. It's not as if the ex-gov is interested in doing anything that would tarnish his rep.Indeed they do.
Hof told WBBM-AM, "I think I'm going to go after Drew Peterson. He doesn't have an old lady now. At least they can't find her. He might as well be on my show and have some fun with the girls."
Peterson's publicist says "this might be something he might be interested in exploring."
These people all deserve each other.
But isn't it nice to know that some things never change?

I ride the Metra to and from work, five days a week. I guarantee you that on every trip there's at least one guy tweezing his nose hairs or clipping his toenails... or at least one woman troweling on her daily war paint -- in either case, a process that takes the entire forty minute journey. (I saw it on the bus and the el, as well, back in the day when I lived in the city.)
It's called personal grooming for a reason, people -- and it's not supposed to be done in public. It's just icky.
But giving yourself a manicure while you're behind the wheel is beyond the pale.
I wish these people would plan ahead better... however, that would mean using their brains, which are obviously lacking.

And now, a note from Mamacita regarding "teacher appreciation" at the end of the school year:
What your child’s teachers really want are gift cards to restaurants, stores, and cool educational websites. Your child’s teacher would genuinely appreciate some genuine appreciation. Teachers have very little spare time; gift cards to restaurants are really appreciated. The best educational toys are found online, and since science isn’t tested in most states yet, science toys would be met with grateful thanks that would make you shed a few tears, yourself. It's the little things in life that count!
Teacher Appreciation certificates, good for merchandise, are also well-received. The simple act of letting a teacher know that he/she IS appreciated is really all we want, but a little swag added to it is nice, too.

Too funny that I left you a message about Drew and Blago before I read this, they are both arrogant A-holes.
